According to the Barna Research Group, the probability of someone embracing Jesus as his or her personal Lord and Savior is 32% for those between the ages of 5-12; it drops to 4% for those in the 13-18 age range; and levels out at 6% for people 19 or older.

With statistics like that, there's little wonder why we put such a strong emphasis on building a strong spiritual foundation in our children at an early age...and we are so thankful for each and every volunteer that invests in our kids. Everyone makes a difference!

It takes over 100 volunteer hours each week to provide regular ministry to the kids here at First Baptist Church?

So what's your part.....

There are opportunities in various areas and various commitment levels to be able to use your passions, talents, and time for serving God's most precious resource...our children. You maybe saying you don't have enough experience or aren't gifted in teaching...don't let that stop you. God can use each of us at any point of our spiritual development and no matter what our age. Our kids need you. There are also areas to serve that aren't specifically working directly with the children. Maybe you even want to be a prayer partner. We are excited you are considering getting involved in our children's ministry. Thank you for your desire to love and serve the children and families at First Baptist Church. It is our hope that this is a ministry where you feel at home, empowered to serve, and fully open to express the gifts God has given you.

FBI Kidz Children's Ministry is not a large, organized, highly structured, highly programmatic ministry. We simply are. We love kids, we laugh together, play together, we teach God's word, and we discuss God's word. We need people who are willing to step up and lead, who like to make children smile, who do not mind acting a little wild and crazy sometimes, who are energetic, passionate, filled with love, and who feel the call to serve First Baptist Church by serving FBI Kidz and their families. Thank you for your willingness to join the adventure!
